XLITE 2 FOIL

The XLITE 2 answers the call for a dedicated, high-performance foil kite. A no-compromise one strut inflatable with features unique to the niche discipline of foiling. 30% lighter than our fantastic Universal+ Series Nexus, the XLITE 2 drifts in virtually no wind and will stay in the sky even when pumping through a lull.

The big news is we’ve replaced the canopy with CoreTex 2.0 and expanded the sizes on both ends. The new canopy material adds more muscle and durability -a big plus- for single strut kites. We added 2 and 3-meter sizes for slicing up the Gorge and a 13.5m for those super-light summer breezes. It wasn’t easy to shrink the XLITE 2 so we heavily modified the bridle, panels, and shape to accommodate the new smaller sizes.

The improved Future-C shape, streamlined tips, and no-snag bridle attachment points further reduce flutter and improve flight efficiency (better side-off performance). The Section 4 features CORE’s latest CoreTex 2.0 canopy and proven ExoTex Light struts to improve control and stability while reducing weight by over 2%.

If you are looking for effortless surfing and the right amount of pull, the new Section will get you upwind and onto the cleanest waves. Freestylers will love the confidence and in-air control the Section imparts to land those physics-defying aerials.

So, what’s new for the GTS6?
For starters, we’re using new material – ExoTex Light – for the struts. The lighter struts’ shape, material, and diameter provide added canopy stability and a little more punch in the turns. The CIT Modes now feature no-snag loops. Don’t worry; we carried over all the good stuff from the GTS5, including the three strut, Future-C canopy shape, which forms the nucleus of the infamous GTS.
