INITIATION

In this first part of the course you will have the first approach to kitesurfing and safety systems, you will be taught how to prepare the kite for flight and then you will start with the practice of controlling the kite.

Normally, the entire course takes place at Maspaloma, Vargas, La Burra beaches, being the most suitable and safe for beginner practice, and includes a small amount of theory fragmented throughout the course.

The duration of the lessons is normally 3 hours, but in the event of special weather conditions, such as dangerous winds or major wind drops, they may be suspended and postponed until better conditions.

The courses include: Instructor, Complete equipment with neoprene, Insurance.

Here you will begin to fully enter the world of kitesurfing. Thanks to the various spots offered by the wind on Gran Canaria’s many shores, with our instructors you will perfect your position, transitions and begin to be totally independent by practising self launch and self land.

You will become familiar with the different weather conditions on the island and the different spots, and with our instructors you will practice emergency manoeuvres such as self rescue, first on the beach and then in the water.
