What’s new on the 5er? We added an internal thermoset resin rail which massively improves the connection between the top and bottom Cartan carbon laminates for a proper unibody build. We reduced our Paulownia wood core’s weight by switching to lighter laminated Paulownia, saving approximately 250g. We added a grab rail for the freestylers. And we improved the channels and outline for the freeriders..

Offering an innovative, performance driven but playful twintip with an extremely wide range of use as well as outstanding performance potential in freestyle, wakestyle and big air, the CORE R&D team have once again taken a step closer to the perfect freestyle-freeride one-board solution.

Delivering an undeniably smooth ride combined with on-demand agility, the Choice 5 is easily accessible with sporty riding characteristics that even beginners and intermediates are guaranteed to make great learning progress on; quickly progressing to grabbed rotations and explosive jumps.

The Choice 5’s excellent grip comes via state-of-the-art multi-channels, while the exciting agility and pop is made possible thanks to the relationship between the new tip shape and integrated quattro channels. Softer landings are due to the strongly contoured underwater hull, effectively breaking the surface tension of the water before pressure is felt in your knees. This easier feel helps you correct messy landings and manage choppy conditions more comfortably.

BOLT 4

WAKESTYLE
Heart Attacks, Slim Chances, and Krypts are your thing. You know ‘em all, and love adding new ones to your repertoire. You see opportunity when others see tricky shoreline elements. You ride the Bolt 4.

What’s new? The Bolt 4 debuts unique top and bottom rails that improve riding comfort and performance. We beveled the top deck between the footpads by approximately 2mm in thickness, and the edge receives a new 60/40 tucked-under rail between the pads that transitions into a flat box rail at the tips. New Katana channels are tip contours that better store and release energy you generate loading the edge.

Four layers of our proprietary carbon fiber – Cartan – prevents reverse flex and makes this board the toughest, most durable board we offer. Its easy-fix Grindbase and bombproof inserts are rail ready. So, enjoy nature’s wonders and ride whatever you want. This pro wakestyle board is built to last.

RIPPER

New shape. More smiles per wave. The original is back with a radical new look and an even wider range. The Ripper features a completely new outline and improved rocker that’s incredibly easy to ride. Ripper. New shape. Same classic polyurethane and glass flex.

So, what’s new? The Ripper features a wider, fish-inspired, profile and a new mini swallow tail. The additional width (19” on the 5’8”) and volume focused around your feet make the forth generation easier than ever to ride under-powered or sloppy waves. We reduced fin toe-in by 4mm to give it more drive and the mini swallow tail provides a little extra bite in the corners. Imagine the fun you’ll have in sloppy waves. Yesss, fun! Give it a try. You’ll see. Just remember to demo the smaller sizes too. You may find your perfect Ripper is one size smaller now.

We fine-tune the rails, foil, and rocker for exceptional speed and agility on steep wave faces. It’s narrow in width and low in volume (23L+/-) to manage faster swells and more wind. Its rounded pintail design creates less lift and more bite on steep faces. Grab a Green Room and ride with newfound fearlessness.

So, what’s new? With a proven shape and a new stringer-less, EPS composite construction, the new board is tougher and lighter than ever. Now it incorporates sustainable materials like recycled plastic bottles and bio-resins to reduce its carbon footprint. That’s progress.
